Notes from the GUZZI ART universe

On collecting original art, the worlds behind the work, and the making of a young artist's universe.

Welcome to the GUZZI ART journal — a slow, considered space for writing about original collectible art and the imagination that fuels it. Here we go beyond the gallery wall to share the ideas, characters and worlds that shape each piece by Daniel Cordoba, a self-taught young contemporary artist whose universe is still being drawn.

Expect editorial notes on what it means to collect original, one-of-a-kind contemporary art; the stories behind individual works — the cosmic planets, floating cities, colourful characters and patterned dimensions that recur across the collection; and honest reflections on how a young artist builds a body of work over time. We also write about the craft itself: the marker, acrylic, ink, watercolour and mixed media that give each piece its texture and life.

Whether you are a first-time collector, a curator, a gallery, or simply someone who loves discovering new artists early, these entries are written to help you see the work more closely and understand the universe it belongs to. New notes are published regularly — take your time, and enjoy the read.
