GUZZI ART · The standard of the house

How your piece is protected

Every work that leaves this studio carries something no photograph, no copy and no forger can take from it: a permanent identity, a story that is sealed as it is written, and an object that answers for itself. This is what you own — and why it grows.

Your piece, in five certainties

  • One number, for ever
  • A story that cannot be rewritten
  • An object that answers for itself
  • A key only you hold
  • Proof that grows in value
01

The Number

One piece. One number. For ever.

Every original and every numbered print leaves the studio with its own registry number — GA-2026-0007, for example. It is never reused, never reissued, never shared. It belongs to your piece the way a name belongs to a person, and the register of the house knows exactly which piece it is.

02

The Record

Its story, written once and sealed.

From the day it was made, your piece has a record in the GUZZI ART Archive: who made it, when it left the studio, every time it changes hands. Each line is added on top of the last and sealed, so nothing can be edited later, backdated or quietly removed — not by a buyer, not by a dealer, not even by us. The record is public at guzziart.com; the names behind it stay private unless you decide otherwise.

03

The Seal

The house signs every letter.

The wax seal on your certificate, your passport and every letter from the studio is the mark of the house. It closes the paperwork the way it has closed letters for centuries — a sign that what you hold was issued by GUZZI ART and by no one else.

04

The Chip on the work

The object proves itself.

Originals and framed prints carry a small, invisible chip on the work itself. Touch it with a phone and the piece answers with its own record — and every touch is unique, so a copied page or a screenshot can never pass for the work. Photographs can be copied. Frames can be copied. This cannot.

05

The Card in your hands

Your key.

With the work comes a card in the colours of its kind — charcoal & gold for an original, ivory & bronze for an edition. A touch of the card opens the same record. Card and work answer with the same number; if they ever disagree, you know at once.

06

Your Portal

Only you can enter.

Your private Collector Portal is where your piece lives online: your passport to download, the story to read, your name to place on the record or keep private. It opens only from a link sent to you. No password to forget, nothing to remember — and nothing a stranger can guess.

07

An asset, not just a picture

Value that can be proven is value that lasts.

A work of art is worth what can be proven about it. Yours comes with the proof built in: an unbroken record, a declared value, authorship confirmed by the artist's own hand, and provenance that reads like an institution's. That is what an insurer asks for, what an auction house asks for, what an heir will one day be grateful for. Your piece is ready for every one of those conversations from day one.

08

If you sell or gift

The record follows the piece.

When the day comes to pass the work on, ownership transfers inside your portal in a few minutes — the new custodian receives the record, your name remains in its history exactly as you wish it to appear, and the number never changes. A GUZZI ART piece arrives at its next owner with its entire life attached.

09

What a museum or gallery sees

Institutional-grade provenance, in one link.

Open any record in the archive and an institution finds what it would otherwise spend weeks assembling: identity, authorship, dates, edition, custody and every documented moment — public, time-stamped and sealed. Curators can request condition reports, exhibition history and loan documents directly through the record.

10

If something looks wrong

A copy can open the record. It cannot be the work.

Anyone can photograph a certificate; no one can make a copy answer like the original. If a piece is offered to you, touch its chip, compare the number on the card, and read the record. If anything disagrees — or you simply have a doubt — tell the studio. We answer every message, and we would rather check ten times than let one wrong piece pass.

Every GUZZI ART piece leaves the studio protected this way. It is the standard of the house — and it travels with your piece for life.
